Job Description
For the Dell Off Campus Drive 2026, the company is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the data mobility area of their storage products. You will work in a fast-paced, agile development environment, designing and implementing features for next-generation storage solutions. This role offers the opportunity to develop domain expertise while collaborating closely with developers to design test plans, report defects, and automate workflows. You will also leverage AI tools and frameworks to drive innovation in software development.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Feature Qualification: Contributing to the qualification of advanced data mobility capabilities for next-generation storage solutions.
- Testing & Automation: Collaborating with developers to design test plans, automate test cases, and perform end-to-end testing.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participating in agile ceremonies and helping deliver team commitments.
- Defect Reporting: Producing high-quality defect reports and comprehensive test result documentation.
- Innovation: Staying current with AI trends and tools to improve product capabilities and team efficiency.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science (preferred) or related fields (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc) with strong course grades.
Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of work experience (Freshers with strong projects are welcome).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise with Python scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of advanced software engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of qualification of complex, distributed systems.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience leveraging AI tools to improve developer experience.
Competencies:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of products and solutions in the storage domain.
