Job Description

For the Dentsu Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a QA Analyst to ensure that developed software meets client requirements and the business’s quality standards within the project release cycle. You will be responsible for developing a fundamental understanding of the business’s Quality Assurance processes, delivery methodologies, and tools. This role is ideal for freshers looking to gain robust experience across various QA areas, from manual test case execution to exploring automation scripts.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Test Execution: Develop and execute accurate test cases as per requirements, analyze results, and raise issues within the schedule.
  • Test Planning: Actively participate in test planning by identifying testing requirements, scope, and estimates.
  • Test Coverage: Ensure optimal test coverage comprising positive, negative, and exception scenarios.
  • Defect Management: Log defects with the right priority, track them to closure, and understand the root cause of issues.
  • Automation: Analyze and execute automation test scripts.
  • Process Adherence: Follow QA best practices across all functions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current processes and policies.
  • Documentation: Familiarize, document, and communicate a clear picture of project deliverables both internally and externally.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Must possess Any Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Freshers with a passion for software quality.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand root causes of software defects.
  • Basic understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to document and report deliverables effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn both manual testing concepts and automation scripting.
