Job Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring for the role of Design Engineer in Chennai. This position is for highly motivated and creative recent graduates with a passion for digital, analog, or mixed-integrated circuit design. Based on your background, you will play a key role in the design, development, and verification of integrated circuits. You will become a strong contributor to a highly skilled global Touch Controller Silicon development team, launching your career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design & Verification: Design and Verification of IPs and Touch Controller products.
- Documentation: Contribute to design reviews and design documentation.
- Quality & Methodology: Comply with and improve development methodology and quality flow.
- Teamwork: Work in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experienced in digital or mixed signal design with a strong understanding
- Experience in System Verilog for design and verification
- Experienced with EDA design flow and tools
Competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player
- Programming skills in languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, C, or C++
- Knowledge in Unix/Linux based operating systems
- Experience with Synopsys and/or Cadence CAD Tools
