Job Description
Deutsche Bank is hiring for the position of Engineer, NCT in Bangalore. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech qualification and 1+ year of relevant experience can apply for this opportunity. The role is primarily focused on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, platform engineering, and production support. Engineers will work on a strategic FX settlement platform and help maintain secure, reliable, and repeatable deployment environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Automation: Help design, automate, deploy, and support infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Platform Maintenance: Maintain secure, reliable, and repeatable deployment environments for a strategic FX settlement platform.
- Operational Support: Provide production and application support.
- Cloud Migration: Support the migration of legacy systems to hybrid/public cloud environments.
- Security & Compliance: Perform vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and manage incidents.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech qualification.
Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience. Experience with DevOps, backend/platform engineering, automation, or infrastructure is highly relevant.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions/Workflows.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Docker.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Exposure to Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid Linux/Unix knowledge.
- Basic SQL knowledge, particularly with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions/Workflows.
Competencies:
- Good-to-Have Skills: FX settlement and confirmation functionality, Agile development methodology, SWIFT messaging protocols, CLS settlement processes, Cloud migration and modernization, MLOps and AI/ML platform exposure.
