Job Description
Infor is hiring for the position of Dev Business Analyst in Hyderabad. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc qualifications can apply for this opportunity. This role is part of an international team working on Infor's data strategy and its Data Fabric solution within the Infor OS technology platform. The position combines business analysis with technical data concepts, requiring candidates to understand business requirements, data management, cloud-native architectures, data processing, business intelligence, and visualization. The role is suitable for candidates who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and who are interested in working at the intersection of business requirements, software development, data engineering, and analytics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work: With product managers to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Prioritize: Requirements based on business and product needs.
- Document: Functional and technical requirements clearly.
- Collaborate: With engineers and architects to translate requirements into solution designs.
- Contribute: To user interface mock-ups and solution documentation where required.
- Communicate: Requirements and business context to development teams.
- Work closely: With stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Collaborate: With quality assurance engineers to ensure requirements are properly tested.
- Conduct: Acceptance testing to verify that specifications have been correctly interpreted.
- Prepare: Draft documentation and technical or business presentations.
- Analyze: Information from different sources and help resolve conflicts between datasets or requirements.
- Manage: Multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Support: Infor's Data Fabric strategy and related data-driven solutions.
- Work: With data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and machine learning-related use cases.

Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc qualifications are listed.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Understanding of databases, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading.
- Experience working with database query languages.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively using both technical and non-technical language.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and services such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Firebolt.
- Knowledge of advanced data processing techniques.
- Experience with BI concepts and data visualization.
- Ability to work with product managers, engineers, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks under pressure.
