Job Description
As a Dev Business Analyst at Infor, you will work between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure that business requirements are understood, documented, prioritized, implemented, and tested correctly. The role has a strong data focus, requiring candidates to understand data management, databases, query languages, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading. You will also work with cloud-native architectures and data services such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Firebolt, combining business analysis with technical data concepts within an international team working on Infor's data strategy and its Data Fabric solution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Work with product managers to gather and analyze business requirements; prioritize requirements based on business and product needs.
- Documentation: Document functional and technical requirements clearly.
- Solution Design Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate requirements into solution designs; contribute to user interface mock-ups and solution documentation where required.
- Communication: Communicate requirements and business context to development teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to ensure requirements are properly tested; conduct acceptance testing to verify that specifications have been correctly interpreted.
- Presentation: Prepare draft documentation and technical or business presentations.
- Conflict Resolution: Analyze information from different sources and help resolve conflicts between datasets or requirements.
- Task Management: Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strategy Support: Support Infor's Data Fabric strategy and related data-driven solutions.
- Use Case Focus: Work with data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and machine learning-related use cases.

Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques.
- Data Management: Understanding of databases, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading.
- Query Languages: Experience working with database query languages.
- Cloud Data: Exposure to cloud-native architectures and services such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Firebolt.
- Data Processing: Knowledge of advanced data processing techniques.
- Business Intelligence: Experience with BI concepts and data visualization.
