Job Description

For the SAP Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking a Developer Associate to take accountability for the execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will deal with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with internal customers to design, architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting.

You will design appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology. The role also involves performing agile prototyping and developing UIs and APIs in a model-driven way using RAP and GenAI technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Developer Associate at SAP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Full Stack Development: Mastering the “full stack” from UI (Fiori/UI5) through Business Object models down to database modeling.
  • Solution Design: Designing appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology.
  • Optimization: Optimizing and simplifying existing processes and code.
  • Agile Prototyping: Performing agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with international colleagues on development projects.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for SAP Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 0 – 3 years of experience in Cloud Application Programming (CAP).
  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Knowledge of developing in at least one Object-Oriented Language.
    • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and Node.js is a must.
  • Preferred Skills (Plus):
    • Knowledge of SQL, HTML5, Fiori, and UI5.
    • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD Pipelines.
    • Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, SOAP, XML, REST).
    • Knowledge of RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) and GenAI.
  • Methodologies: Expertise in agile development/SCRUM and test-driven/model-driven development.
