Job Description
For the DTCC Internship 2026 program, the Information Technology group is looking for interns to deliver high-quality information solutions. You will participate in the collection and analysis of project requirements, create technical specifications, and build and test application code. The role offers a unique Hybrid Work Model where you will work onsite (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day) and remotely for the rest. You will gain access to senior leaders, skill-building workshops, and mentorship throughout the summer.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Participating in the analysis of project requirements and development of technical specifications.
- Development: Developing and testing code for existing or proposed business applications.
- Documentation: Assisting in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects.
- Troubleshooting: Performing troubleshooting and debugging of applications.
- Collaboration: Working within a team environment to make contributions within business areas.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science Data Science Engineering MIS or Business & Technology Management. Graduation Timeline: Candidates must be graduating no later than May 2027. Academic Performance: Minimum 3.2 GPA (approx 60-65% or equivalent grade).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficient computer and technical skills, particularly with Python and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of Capital Markets and Financial Risk Domain.
- Superior analytical and communication skills.
Competencies:
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to grasp new concepts and work in a team.
