Job Description
For the EA Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Software Engineer I to provide technical leadership and be part of the technology team that designs and develops application platforms and tools. You will own core system quality attributes related to product architecture, including scalability, security, and reliability. You will evaluate emerging technologies and drive brainstorming for new products required by EADP internal teams and Game Teams. This role involves hands-on coding, testing, and deploying in large-scale environments, requiring a solid understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- System Design & Development: Design and develop application features considering functionality, performance, scalability, and security aspects.
- Quality Assurance: Write a robust suite of unit tests focusing on defect prevention. Analyze and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Technology Implementation: Work with a variety of technologies including Java, Python, Flink, Kafka, Redis, Grpc, Spring, Node.js, Couchbase, MySQL, Postgres, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Istio/Envoy, Docker, and AWS.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with global teams, product management, and game teams to track issues and understand system capability requirements.
- Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Sprint planning, task estimates, and deliver high-quality software using a Continuous Integration, Validation, and Deployment methodology.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or higher (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech).
Experience: 1 to 3 years of relative experience in a fast-paced agile environment.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong background in Data Structures, Algorithms, Design patterns, and algorithm complexity analysis.
- Knowledge of building high-performance, highly available, distributed systems software.
- Experience with source control systems, automated build systems, and CI/CD.
- Development experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure (preferred).
- Experience in big data systems (preferred).
