Job Description
Eaton is recruiting an Associate Engineer – Full Stack in Pune for early-career software engineers interested in building and supporting modern applications. This role spans the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA and 0-1 year of experience will gain exposure to full-stack development, cloud-native applications, REST APIs, WebSockets, and modern software architectures like Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and support.
- Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain applications focusing on full-stack development and cloud-native applications.
- API & Integration: Build and integrate REST APIs and WebSocket-based services; work on application integration to connect various services and systems.
- Quality & Reliability: Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development process.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA)
Experience: 0–1 year of experience in software development or application development.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software-engineering best practices
- Understanding of Full Stack Development concepts and modern application architectures
- Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
- Experience or familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and application integration
- Familiarity with GitHub, version-control systems, and Git Flow
- Understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
