Job Description

This engineering role is designed for professionals with a degree in engineering or computer science and hands-on experience in software development, embedded systems, databases, and source code management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Apply software engineering principles to support the design, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, utility applications, and tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze user requirements and technical specifications to build small software features for Qualcomm platforms.
  • Feature Delivery & Testing: Participate in software design, unit testing, feature coding, minor bug fixing, and integration efforts to meet delivery schedules.
  • Code Quality: Assist with peer code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging to ensure high software quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal project team members to achieve shared technical goals and milestones.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for software projects.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 1+ years of practical experience.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience integrating and managing APIs
  • 1+ years of experience working with Database Management Software (DBMS)
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience using source code management tools like Git or Perforce
  • 1+ years of practical experience with languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
