Job Description

For the Ericsson Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Junior Test Engineer to perform comprehensive testing, administration, and troubleshooting of customer application systems. You will work on critical systems including IT, Telco B/OSS (Business/Operations Support Systems), IP Core, and Cloud Networks. The role involves implementing services requested by customers, which includes designing manual and automated test cases, executing them, and tracking defects. You will be an integral part of the customer-facing team, operating on-site or remotely as needed to ensure end-to-end process quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Test Execution: Perform manual and/or automated test case design, execution, and defect tracking for functional and non-functional scenarios.
  • Process Quality: Play a key role in End-to-End process quality, including planning and designing scripts for monitoring business process KPIs.
  • System Support: Administer, troubleshoot, and support customer application systems for IT and Telco domains.
  • Customer Implementation: Implement services requested by the customer, working directly with customer teams on-site or remotely.
  • Defect Management: Use tools like JIRA to track and manage defects effectively throughout the software testing life cycle.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field (CS, IT, ECE, Telecommunications).

Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Experience on Ericsson Products such as: Ericsson Charging & Billing DMP (Device Management Platform) CIS, Order Care, Catalog Manager
  • Proficiency in JIRA or similar Test Management tools.
  • Experience with Verification tools and Test Automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Defect Management tools.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills to monitor data quality and process KPIs.
