Job Description

Experian is currently hiring driven and skilled technology professionals for the role of Software Engineer. This position is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model (2 days Work From Office). The role focuses on developing scalable, cloud-native full-stack applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular, and AWS cloud services. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Development: Develop, deploy, and maintain robust full-stack cloud applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/React.
  • Backend Services: Build highly scalable backend services alongside clean, responsive frontend user components.
  • Cloud Contribution: Contribute effectively to microservices deployed on AWS ecosystems (EKS and DynamoDB), ensuring high reliability and system performance.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in strict adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Agile Participation: Participate actively in Agile sprint activities, technical strategy discussions, and architectural design sessions.
  • Testing: Implement unit tests and drive the automation of integration and end-to-end testing cycles.
  • Debugging: Debug application issues, assist in root-cause analysis, and deliver structured fixes under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
  • Code Review: Engage in peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to overall code quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate fluidly with cross-functional QA, DevOps, Product, and UX teams within an Agile framework.
  • Learning: Continuously learn and apply cloud-native design principles, DevOps practices, and CI/CD enhancements.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Minimum 1+ years of frontend development experience utilizing Angular or React.
  • Proficiency in modern UI development including HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern design patterns.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (such as EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and Lambda).
  • Basic foundational knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development methodologies.
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of automated test tools, unit testing, and integration testing workflows.
