Job Description
For the Ford Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is seeking a talented Software Engineer to deliver curated data APIs and UIs. You will perform an end-to-end Full Stack Software Engineer role, working on the Enterprise Data Platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or strong knowledge in building APIs, UI screens, and data products. You will work effectively with product owners and data champions to analyze large datasets and advocate for well-designed technical solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Deliver curated data APIs and UIs using Angular, React, and Python.
- Cloud Engineering: Work extensively on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using native services and Big Query.
- Data Products: Build tables, views, and load data to support API development and large-scale data analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with fellow engineers and product owners to deliver solutions for the Central Engineering Portfolio.
- Application Support: Provide support for applications and operationalize APIs in a cloud environment.
- Security & Tools: Utilize tools like GitHub, CheckMarx, Fossa, and 42 Crunch for code quality and security.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in Engineering.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for backend logic.
- Experience with Frontend frameworks like Angular or React.
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Query.
- Knowledge of Query optimization, GitHub, and API development standards.
Competencies:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate for technical designs.
