Job Description
Franklin Templeton Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the Software Engineer role in Hyderabad. The role focuses on modern full-stack engineering using React.js, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, AWS and DevOps. The position also emphasizes AI-assisted development, secure engineering, CI/CD automation, application monitoring and modern cloud-native practices. Candidates should have experience building web applications and backend services and should be comfortable working in Agile teams with engineers, product managers and designers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Application Development: Develop and enhance modern web applications using React.js.
- Backend Development: Build backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot or Node.js.
- UI Components: Create reusable UI components and shared libraries.
- Interface Delivery: Deliver responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
- API Integration: Develop RESTful APIs and platform integrations.
- Data Integration: Integrate applications with enterprise data and workflow services.
- Authentication Support: Support authentication and authorization using Okta standards.
- Code Quality: Write high-quality, well-tested and secure code.
- Deployment & CI: Contribute to deployment automation and continuous integration processes.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Support application monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- AI Tools: Use AI coding assistants to improve productivity and software quality, and use AI tools for development, testing, debugging and documentation.
- AI Concepts: Explore Agentic AI concepts.
- Automation: Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Secure Workflows: Support secure and efficient development workflows.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers, participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, share technical knowledge and engineering best practices, and work with senior engineers to strengthen technical capabilities.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Experience: 1–2+ years of full-stack or web application development experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience with React.js and modern frontend technologies.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot or Node.js.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Git and software testing practices.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
- SQL and Relational database concepts.
- OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Okta authentication frameworks.
- GitLab CI/CD automation.
