Job Description
For the GoRoots Internship 2026, the development team is looking for a dedicated intern to build and enhance a Next.js-based application. You will be working on an AI-powered appointment system designed to streamline operations for wellness businesses.
This role offers real-world exposure to both frontend and backend development. You will integrate APIs, work with third-party services, and explore emerging AI technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) and image processing to improve user experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer Intern at GoRoots, your key responsibilities will include:
- Application Development: Collaborating with the team to design, develop, and implement scalable Next.js applications.
- AI Integration: Working with AI technologies such as LLMs and image processing to enhance product functionality.
- Code Quality: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.
- API Management: Assisting in integrating APIs and third-party services, including social platform integrations.
- Troubleshooting: Debugging and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Innovation: Suggesting innovative ideas to improve the user experience of the appointment system.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for GoRoots Internship 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Undergraduate or Postgraduate students (Engineering preferred).
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
