Job Description:

For the Citigroup Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking a GenAI Developer to participate in the establishment and implementation of new application systems. The role involves contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities within the Technology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing knowledge of applications development procedures to identify and define system enhancements.
  • Identifying and analyzing issues, making recommendations, and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting testing and debugging, utilizing script tools, and writing basic code.
  • Developing working knowledge of Citi’s information systems and client-server application development.
  • Assessing risk when business decisions are made and safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
  • Analyzing information to recommend solutions and improvements.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in programming/debugging.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of program languages (Java/Python preferred for GenAI roles).
