Goldman Sachs Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the AWM Management-F&S Analyst position in Bangalore. Candidates with qualifications such as MBA, M.Fin, MSF, PGDM, PGFM or CA and 0–2 years of experience can apply for this opportunity. The role is part of the Finance function supporting Asset & Wealth Management (AWM). The position involves financial analysis, profitability analysis, forecasting, business intelligence, management reporting, strategic analysis and working with significant volumes of financial and operational data. Candidates with strong quantitative and analytical abilities, financial modeling skills, Business Intelligence experience and an interest in Asset Management, Investment Banking or Management Consulting can be particularly well aligned with this position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in Finance projects supporting Asset & Wealth Management.
- Develop expertise in financial data, financial systems and operating infrastructure.
- Establish relationships across the business and relevant divisions.
- Communicate financial and analytical findings effectively.
- Support financial and strategic decision-making through detailed analysis.
- Work with significant volumes of data and systems.
- Present analytical findings and highlight their broader commercial and strategic impact.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Postgraduate qualification in Finance or a related field such as MBA, M.Fin, MSF, PGDM or PGFM. Chartered Accountants (CA) can also apply.
Experience: 0–2 years of work experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Financial Analysis: Understand financial statements, profitability analysis, forecasting, budgeting and financial performance measurement.
- Business Intelligence: Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Alteryx.
- Financial Modeling: Comfortable developing and handling complicated models to support management decisions and strategic analysis.
- Data Analysis: Experience handling large datasets and identifying meaningful trends, relationships and business insights.
Competencies:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and work with complex financial and analytical models.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and present analytical results effectively.
- Ability to work proactively and effectively in small project teams.
- Computer Science background or programming experience (advantage).
- Exposure to Asset Management, Management Consulting, Investment Banking (advantage).
