Job Description

For the GE Healthcare drive, the company is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to support the Power Electronics and RF Coil manufacturing line. This role is ideal for engineers who want to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment, resolving quality issues and ensuring equipment calibration.

You will carry out Verification and Validation (V&V) activities, manage non-conforming products, and drive Lean Action Work Outs across the site. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at GE Healthcare, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing Support: Managing the Power Electronics and RF Coil manufacturing line and resolving quality issues.
  • Calibration & Validation: Ensuring all Equipment Calibration activities are done as per schedule and carrying out V&V activities for production processes.
  • Quality Management: Managing Non-conforming products, supporting clearance of reports, and working with Supplier Quality Engineering teams.
  • Documentation: Supporting the preparation of Work Instructions, Device History Records, and maintaining revision history.
  • Process Improvement: Executing Poke Yoke projects for jigs & fixtures and supporting the implementation of Kaizen and Lean initiatives.
  • EHS & Inventory: Owning EHS elements as a support member and maintaining inventory of Capital Goods.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for GE Healthcare drive, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: Fresh Graduates (B.E/B.Tech) or candidates with up to One year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Domains: Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering with an interest in Medical Devices.
  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
    • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Desirable Knowledge:
    • Understanding of Power Electronics and RF (Radio Frequency) concepts.
    • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, Poke Yoke).
    • Basic knowledge of Equipment Calibration and Validation processes.
