Job Description
For the Valeo Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to support the Production Quality department. The role involves ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards, analyzing quality issues, and maintaining the APU (Autonomous Production Unit) quality tracking charts.
In this role, you will perform line audits, participate in QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) meetings, and manage the 4M matrix (Man, Machine, Material, Method) to ensure continuous process conformance.
Responsibilities
- Initiating and maintaining the QRQC database.
- Supporting APU Managers in analyzing assigned quality issues.
- Updating APU quality tracking charts, including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality.
- Performing line audits to detect non-compliance with standards and identifying corrective actions.
- Participating in the eradication of Customer and Non-Quality issues.
- Verifying the 4M matrix regarding product or process changes.
- Revising the Control Plan after any quality issue is detected.
- Stopping the manufacturing line if safety or quality standards are not respected.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related fields preferred).
- Experience: Freshers are eligible.
- Core Knowledge: Understanding of Manufacturing Quality standards and Quality Tools (7QC tools).
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with 4M Matrix, Control Plans, and Auditing.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, assertiveness to enforce standards, and good communication.
