Job Description

Classic Technologies and Business Solutions is hiring for the position of Graduate Specialist – Product Development in Kochi. This opportunity is designed for fresh graduates who want to build a career in modern full-stack web application development. The role provides exposure to both frontend and backend development, with Angular as the primary technology and Java/Spring Boot as the secondary backend technology. Candidates will also work with MSSQL databases, RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA, Git/GitHub, Agile development, and code reviews. As a Graduate Specialist, you will work alongside experienced developers to build, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular v12+; Implement Angular UI components, forms, and data-binding functionality; Integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications; Follow UI/UX standards and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Backend Development: Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot; Implement CRUD operations and participate in REST API development; Work with Hibernate/JPA for database integration; Support bug fixes and performance improvements.
  • Database Development: Write basic MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and database views; Assist with maintaining database consistency; Test interactions between APIs and databases; Learn and apply basic query optimization techniques.
  • Development Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews; Follow Agile development practices and internal coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend, backend, and QA teams.
  • Contribution: Contribute to the development of enterprise software modules.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience: 0–1 year of experience, including relevant academic or internship exposure.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Angular.
  • Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • MSSQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and relational database concepts.
  • Basic understanding of Hibernate/JPA.
  • Git and GitHub.
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals and CRUD operations.

Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
