Job Description

As a Graduate Specialist – Product Development, you will work alongside experienced developers to build, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications. The position has a strong frontend development focus using Angular, while also providing exposure to Java and Spring Boot development for backend services. You will also work with MSSQL databases, RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA, Git/GitHub, Agile development, and code reviews, designed for fresh graduates who want to build a career in modern full-stack web application development at Classic Technologies in Kochi, Kerala.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular v12+; implement Angular UI components, forms, and data-binding functionality; integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications; follow UI/UX standards and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Backend Development: Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot; implement CRUD operations and participate in REST API development; work with Hibernate/JPA for database integration; support bug fixes and performance improvements.
  • Database Development: Write basic MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and database views; assist with maintaining database consistency; test interactions between APIs and databases; learn and apply basic query optimization techniques.
  • Development Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews; follow Agile development practices and internal coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend, backend, and QA teams.
  • Module Contribution: Contribute to the development of enterprise software modules.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience: 0–1 year of experience, including relevant academic or internship exposure.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Angular.
  • Backend: Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Database: MSSQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and relational database concepts.
  • ORM: Basic understanding of Hibernate/JPA.
  • Version Control: Git and GitHub.
  • Development: Understanding of software development fundamentals and CRUD operations.
  • Agile: Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies.
