HARMAN is hiring for the role of Bluetooth Intern in Bangalore. This internship opportunity is for candidates pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a similar discipline. The role is part of HARMAN Automotive's broader technology and engineering environment, offering exposure to Embedded RTOS, Android, C++, Linux, and software quality assurance. Interns will work across a range of embedded and software technologies, including static code analysis and unit testing with the Google Test Framework, contributing to challenging work across a multi-layered software stack.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Embedded and Software Technologies: Work with technology areas including Embedded RTOS, Android, C++, and Linux.
- Code Quality: Participate in static code analysis checks and unit testing using the Google Test Framework.
- Software Development: Work on software programs and software system development, contributing to challenging work across a multi-layered software stack.
- Skill Development: Develop technical skills through exposure to embedded and automotive technologies.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic engineering team.
- Quality Assurance: Learn software release and quality assurance activities, using debuggers, emulators, and simulators while testing software.
- Troubleshooting: Participate in software development and troubleshooting activities.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or a similar discipline.
Experience: Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Embedded C/C++ development (including programming fundamentals, OOP, hardware interaction).
- Working knowledge of Linux and embedded systems (including command-line operations, file systems, processes, hardware interaction).
- Basic understanding of Embedded RTOS (tasks, scheduling, real-time constraints).
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with debuggers, emulators, simulators, and software testing.
- Understanding of static code analysis checks.
- Experience with Unit Testing using Google Test Framework.
- Basic Android knowledge.
