Job Description
As a Certification Intern at HARMAN, you will learn how software is developed, tested, debugged, released, and maintained within a technology-focused engineering environment. The role has a strong connection to Android and embedded systems, providing practical exposure to C, C++, Java, Android, embedded systems, software debugging, emulators, simulators, software releases, and quality assurance. The internship is based in Bangalore, with HARMAN's flexible hybrid arrangement requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Develop software applications and components on the Android platform.
- Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices.
- Support software quality assurance activities.
- Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies.
- Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends.
- Continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills.
- Follow software development and quality practices used by the engineering team.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Programming: Good knowledge of C or C++ is beneficial.
- Java: Knowledge of Java is also relevant to the position.
- Android: Basic knowledge of Android is desirable.
- Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience is preferred.
