Job Description
As a Certification Intern at HARMAN, you will learn how software is developed, tested, debugged, released, and maintained within a technology-focused engineering environment. The role has a strong connection to Android and embedded systems. Candidates with knowledge of C, C++, Java, Android, or embedded technology can use their existing skills while developing practical engineering experience. The internship also provides exposure to software testing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Learn software development using C, C++, Java , or other selected programming languages.
- Develop software applications and components on the Android platform .
- Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators .
- Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices.
- Support software quality assurance activities.
- Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies.
- Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends.
- Continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills.
- Follow software development and quality practices used by the engineering team.
