Job Description
As a Certification Intern at HARMAN in Bangalore, you will gain practical exposure to C, C++, Java, Android, embedded systems, software debugging, emulators, simulators, software releases, and quality assurance. This role is particularly relevant for fresh graduates interested in automotive software and connected technologies, offering an opportunity to learn software development and testing practices while working with experienced engineering teams. The internship operates under a flexible hybrid arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development Learning: Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Android Development: Develop software applications and components on the Android platform; build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Software Testing: Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators; participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Release & QA: Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices; support software quality assurance activities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Embedded Systems: Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends; continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills; follow software development and quality practices used by the engineering team.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree. Strong academic performance is preferred.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of C or C++ is beneficial (Programming).
- Knowledge of Java is also relevant to the position (Java).
- Basic knowledge of Android is desirable (Android).
- Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience is preferred (Embedded Systems).
- Interest in software testing, debugging, emulators, and simulators (Testing).
- Interest in software quality assurance and release activities (Quality).
