Job Description
As a Certification Intern at HARMAN, you will learn how software is developed, tested, debugged, released, and maintained within a technology-focused engineering environment. The role has a strong connection to Android and embedded systems. Candidates with knowledge of C, C++, Java, Android, or embedded technology can use their existing skills while developing practical engineering experience. The internship also provides exposure to software testing, including the use of debuggers, emulators, and simulators to test software and identify potential issues. Software quality assurance and release activities are another important component of the role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Development: Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Android Development: Develop software applications and components on the Android platform.
- Familiarity Building: Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Software Testing: Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Participation: Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Release Processes: Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices.
- Support: Support software quality assurance activities.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree.
Experience: Freshers. Strong academic performance is preferred.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of C or C++ is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Java is also relevant.
- Basic knowledge of Android is desirable.
- Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience is preferred.
- Interest in software testing, debugging, emulators, and simulators.
- Interest in software quality assurance and release activities.
