Job Description
HARMAN International is hiring fresh graduates for the position of Certification Intern in Bangalore. This opportunity is open to candidates with B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA qualifications. The Certification Intern role provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to C, C++, Java, Android, embedded systems, software debugging, emulators, simulators, software releases, and quality assurance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Android Platform: Develop software applications and components on the Android platform.
- Android Fundamentals: Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Software Testing: Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Testing & Verification: Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Software Release: Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices.
- Quality Assurance: Support software quality assurance activities.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Embedded Software: Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends.
- Skill Improvement: Continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills.
- Practices Adherence: Follow software development and quality practices used by the engineering team.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of C or C++ is beneficial
- Knowledge of Java is also relevant
- Basic knowledge of Android is desirable
- Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience is preferred
- Interest in software testing, debugging, emulators, and simulators
- Interest in software quality assurance and release activities
Competencies:
- Strong academic performance is preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team
- Candidates should be comfortable working from the office as required
