Job Description
For the Harman Internship 2026 program, the intern will actively contribute to software development by following a structured process. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing embedded software for amplifier applications using C# and WPF technology. The role involves hands-on experience with development tools like Visual Studio, debuggers, and emulators. You will also work with hardware instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to troubleshoot and optimize code.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Designing and implementing embedded software for amplifier applications using C# and WPF.
- Testing: Creating unit and integration test plans and verifying functionality at both unit and system levels.
- Troubleshooting: optimizing code using debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
- Hardware Debugging: Using hardware instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to test compliance.
- Collaboration: Working within an Agile or V-model project lifecycle to deliver high-quality software.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in C#.
- Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) development.
- Working knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems.
- Ability to test code at unit and system levels.
Competencies:
- Exposure to scripting languages like Python.
- Background in Agile or V-model project lifecycles.
- Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing software defects.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
