Job Description

HARMAN is currently inviting applications for the position of Python Automaton – Intern at its technology center in Bangalore. This 6-month fixed-term internship is ideal for freshers, students, and recent graduates who possess foundational knowledge in Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and software testing principles. Interns will support senior engineers in building and executing automated test scripts using Python.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Automation Support: Support senior engineers in building and executing automated test scripts using Python.
- Software Design: Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles to structure maintainable automation components.
- Testing: Assist in validating software modules, logging software defects, and analyzing test execution results.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional development and testing teams within an agile workflow.
- Learning: Gain exposure to enterprise software development lifecycles and modern automation frameworks.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree holders or final-year students pursuing B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, M.E, M.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or allied engineering streams.
Experience: Freshers (0 years of experience) seeking hands-on exposure to Python automation and software quality engineering.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic working knowledge of Python programming syntax, data structures, and script execution.
- Practical understanding of core OOP principles such as classes, objects, inheritance, and encapsulation.
- Foundational grasp of software testing methodology, test scenarios, bug identification, and test automation flow.
Competencies:
