Job Description

As a Cloud Developer at HPE, you will work within dynamic cloud engineering teams to design, write, test, and maintain cloud platform components. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from feature definition to automated continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Development: Develop and maintain cloud application modules according to feature specifications while strictly adhering to corporate security policies.
• Testing: Design comprehensive test plans, write automated test cases, and execute testing for assigned software modules.
• Deployment: Deploy code to cloud infrastructure environments and debug runtime issues promptly.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior technical leaders, and software architects to share and review innovative technical solutions.
• Analysis: Analyze data processing, networking, and system administration challenges to engineer high-performing software solutions.
• CI/CD: Integrate automated CI/CD practices into existing deployment workflows to ensure seamless cloud delivery.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience or project exposure in cloud software development.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on coding skills in at least one modern programming language: Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and cloud infrastructure principles.
• Knowledge of basic software testing strategies, unit testing, debugging, and automated test execution.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in agile engineering teams.
