Job Description
For the HSBC Off Campus Drive 2026, the analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst to heavily support campaign analytics. You will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and evaluation of marketing and customer engagement campaigns by thoroughly analyzing performance data. Your day-to-day will involve gathering data from multiple sources (like CRMs and digital platforms), maintaining tracking dashboards, and translating raw data into actionable insights to highlight optimization opportunities for future HSBC campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Campaign Analytics: Support the execution and rigorous evaluation of marketing campaigns by identifying key success metrics and analyzing performance data.
- Data Collection & Prep: Gather, clean, and prepare datasets from various sources (e.g., CRM, digital platforms) to enable robust analysis.
- Performance Reporting: Develop, track, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Looker to measure customer response rates.
- Insights Generation: Translate campaign data into actionable insights, proactively recommending improvements for future marketing strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and business) to align analytics solutions with broader business outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, transparent documentation of all analytics processes, methodologies, and findings for knowledge sharing.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently a final year student) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Fresh graduates from good colleges are highly welcome.

- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative abilities with a knack for interpreting complex data.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent teamwork and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Preferred Technical Proficiency (Good-to-Have): Basic knowledge of data analysis tools such as GCP Big Query, Python, Looker, Power BI, or SQL is a strong plus, though not strictly mandatory for freshers.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated achievements through academic projects, internships, hackathons, or relevant advanced coursework.
