Job Description
For the IBM Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for Software Developers to work on all phases of product development, from design and coding to testing and support. You will be focused on developing IBM Systems products that interface with global development teams and end-users. The role requires a solid foundation in Microservices Architecture and experience with database technologies like MongoDB or SQL. You will analyze product requirements, determine the best design course, and implement solutions across the entire product development life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Developing solutions using Java, J2EE, and Python.
- Product Lifecycle: Working on design, development, testing, and support of IBM Systems products.
- API Automation: Writing and executing Unit Tests and REST API automation.
- Database Management: Working with database technologies such as MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL, and Vector Databases.
- DevOps: Utilizing CI/CD processes and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Collaboration: Interfacing with product management teams and end-users across different geographies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in relevant engineering fields.
Experience: 0 – 1 Year (6-12 months of development experience preferred).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, and Python.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs.
- Experience with Version Control (GitHub) and Build Tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL, Vector DBs).
Competencies:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS/IBM Cloud) and Kafka.
- Frontend skills: ReactJS, HTML5, CSS.
