Job Description
As a Dev Business Analyst at Infor, you will work between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure that business requirements are understood, documented, prioritized, implemented, and tested correctly. The role has a strong data focus. Candidates should understand data management, databases, query languages, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading. You will also work with cloud-native architectures and data services such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Firebolt. Experience with business intelligence and data visualization is another important requirement. This makes the position different from a traditional business analyst role. A candidate will benefit from having both business analysis skills and technical understanding of data systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with product managers: To gather and analyze business requirements.
- Prioritize requirements: Based on business and product needs.
- Document functional and technical requirements: Clearly.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects: To translate requirements into solution designs.
- Contribute to user interface mock-ups: And solution documentation where required.
- Communicate requirements and business context: To development teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders: Throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with quality assurance engineers: To ensure requirements are properly tested.
- Conduct acceptance testing: To verify that specifications have been correctly interpreted.
- Prepare draft documentation: And technical or business presentations.
- Analyze information from different sources: And help resolve conflicts between datasets or requirements.
- Manage multiple initiatives: And prioritize tasks effectively.
- Support Infor's Data Fabric strategy: And related data-driven solutions.
- Work with data warehousing: Analytics, reporting, and machine learning-related use cases.

Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc qualifications are listed.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques
- Understanding of databases, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading
- Experience working with database query languages
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and services such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Firebolt
- Knowledge of advanced data processing techniques
- Experience with BI concepts and data visualization
Competencies:
- Ability to communicate effectively using both technical and non-technical language
- Ability to work with product managers, engineers, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders
- Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts
