As a Dev Business Analyst at Infor , you will work between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure that business requirements are understood, documented, prioritized, implemented, and tested correctly. The role has a strong data focus. Candidates should understand data management, databases, query languages, data extraction, data transformation, and data loading . You will also work with cloud-native architectures and data services such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Firebolt . Experience with business intelligence and data visualization is another important requirement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirements Management: Work with product managers to gather and analyze business requirements. Prioritize requirements based on business and product needs. Document functional and technical requirements clearly.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate requirements into solution designs. Contribute to user interface mock-ups and solution documentation where required.
- Team Communication: Communicate requirements and business context to development teams. Work closely with stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to ensure requirements are properly tested. Conduct acceptance testing to verify that specifications have been correctly interpreted.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare draft documentation and technical or business presentations. Analyze information from different sources and help resolve conflicts between datasets or requirements.
- Project Management: Manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Data Strategy: Support Infor's Data Fabric strategy and related data-driven solutions. Work with data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and machine learning-related use cases.
