Job Description

Monotype is hiring for the position of Information Security Trainee in Noida. This opportunity is open to freshers as well as experienced candidates with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or an equivalent field. The role is focused on information security investigations, breach response, security monitoring, vulnerability analysis, malware remediation, configuration auditing and cybersecurity operations. Monotype is also willing to hire candidates without prior experience and provide training for the position. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Security Investigations: Perform security investigations and analyze information from multiple sources.
  • Threat Analysis: Analyze threat intelligence and identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and exploitation risks.
  • Incident Response: Respond to crisis or urgent security situations, mitigate immediate threats, and support preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery activities.
  • Remediation & Auditing: Assist IT teams with malware remediation and configuration auditing of networks and operating systems.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal technical teams and technology vendors.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or an equivalent discipline.

Experience: Both freshers and experienced candidates can apply.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of fundamental security principles, threats and controls (Information Security).
  • Basic understanding of network security concepts and configurations (Network Security).
  • Familiarity with operating-system security and configuration auditing (Systems Security).
  • Awareness of application vulnerabilities and security risks (Application Security).
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts, particularly AWS (Cloud Security).

Competencies:

  • Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and identify potential threats (Threat Analysis).
  • Ability to investigate problems, identify vulnerabilities and draw meaningful conclusions (Analytical Skills).
