Job Description:

For the Johnson Controls Internship 2026 program, the company is seeking a curious and proactive intern to join the Cyber Security Group. You will work under the supervision of senior team members to learn and assist in managing cyber security projects and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems, and data centers.
  • Conducting ongoing vulnerability scans and monitoring network data.
  • Identifying critical digital assets and potential threat vectors.
  • Reviewing existing security policy documents and generating new policy documentation.
  • Assisting in creating security awareness training assets.
  • Coordinating with Cloud, IT Networks, and End-user computing teams.
  • Supporting internal training activities and ensuring software applications are updated.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to influence people.
  • Mindset: Curious, proactive, self-starter, and detailed-oriented.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to execute on own initiative.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build a professional network and work in global teams.
