Job Description
IQVIA is hiring Software Engineer Interns for its Product Engineering team in Bengaluru, India. This is a full-time, hybrid internship for students or recent graduates interested in software engineering, artificial intelligence, automation testing, APIs, cloud platforms, data platforms, and enterprise applications. Interns will work alongside experienced architects, developers, and quality engineers to build, test, maintain, and optimize enterprise software, gaining exposure to modern technologies such as Python, Generative AI, Agentic AI, REST APIs, FastAPI, microservices, automation frameworks, and cloud platforms. The role combines software development and quality engineering, with a significant Generative AI component requiring knowledge of Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and Multi-Agent Systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Develop backend components and build AI-powered solutions.
- Quality Engineering: Create automated test frameworks, execute functional and integration testing, analyze defects, and work with developers to identify and resolve root causes.
- AI Application: Work with Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and Multi-Agent Systems.
- API Integration: Understand API integration, JSON and XML, database validation, and automated testing.
- Collaboration: Work alongside experienced architects, developers, and quality engineers.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Applications, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Internship opportunity. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
