Job Description
For the IQVIA Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for an Associate Programmer to provide technical assistance in developing and maintaining critical clinical systems that meet both internal and external clients' needs. You will actively assist in the development, manipulation, and testing of databases for local, regional, or transnational use. This role requires close interaction with project teams to organize timelines and deliverables. A key component of your daily responsibilities will involve maintaining strong communication and working relationships with the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Database Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical system databases.
- Programming & Testing: Assist with programming, testing, and thoroughly documenting databases in strict accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.
- Data Operations: Assist with programming database manipulations and the secure transfer of data for internal and external clients.
- IT Support: Assist the IT department in testing new technology upgrades before broad implementation.
- Compliance: Understand and strictly comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
- Collaboration: Meet assigned objectives, interact with the project team to organize responsibilities, and develop strong working relationships with the CDM team.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is also acceptable.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Basic understanding of database design and data manipulation.

- Good conceptual, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
