Job Description
For the Jabil Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Programmer Analyst to participate in the development and rollout of new functionality. The ideal candidate will have application programming experience in established platforms. You will be responsible for developing artifacts using best practices, carrying out black box and unit testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). The role requires adherence to governance protocols and effective communication with all parties.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Development: Developing and rolling out new functionality using SAP (ABAP), .NET, C#, or Java.
- Testing: Carrying out effective black box and unit testing for developed artifacts.
- Support: Participating in and supporting functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and governance protocols.
- Communication: Ensuring effective project communication and maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Analysis: Interpreting instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (preferred).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience in one of the following: SAP ABAP (Highly Preferred), .NET / C#, or Java.
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in IT department functions and systems.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
