Roles and Responsibilities
- Test System Development: Under limited supervision, design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production.
- Design Review: Review circuit board designs for testability requirements during design and production phases.
- Manufacturing Support: Support active manufacturing operations with failure analysis, tester debugging, and reduction of intermittent equipment failures and downtime.
- Documentation: Prepare documentation and technical testing procedures from initial design phase through full production.
- Test Apparatus Design: Design and direct engineering staff in fabricating test control apparatus, hardware, and automated testing devices.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret raw test data to generate technical performance reports for test engineering management.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize and develop testing software and hardware tools to evaluate machinery, equipment, and standard/custom devices.
- Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with company security policies and occupational safety regulations.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or B.E / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical disciplines.
Experience: Open to both freshers and candidates with prior experience in hardware testing, PCB assembly, or manufacturing operations.
Competencies:
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, procedures, and government regulations; capability to draft formal test reports and procedures
- Understanding of probability, statistical inference, ratios, geometry, and trigonometry applied to practical engineering situations
- Ability to define technical problems, gather test data, analyze failure trends, and draw valid conclusions
- Familiarity with ISO and QS quality and safety standards
