Job Description
For the micro1 Recruitment 2026 drive, the engineering team is looking for a hands-on Junior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale advanced GenAI systems. You will collaborate with passionate colleagues to power innovative solutions.
You will contribute to the development of answering engines, entity extraction tools, and summarization systems. The role involves building REST APIs using Python frameworks and supporting RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines through data ingestion and embedding creation.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Junior AI Engineer at micro1, your key responsibilities will include:
- GenAI Development: Contributing to applications such as answering engines and summarization systems.
- API Development: Building and debugging REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- RAG Pipelines: Supporting data ingestion, embedding creation, and prompt testing for RAG workflows.
- Vector Databases: Working with Pinecone or FAISS for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- LLM Experimentation: Experimenting with prompt templates and LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral) under guidance.
- Cloud Deployment: Assisting in model or API deployment using AWS or Azure.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for micro1 Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: 1-2 Years of relevant experience in AI/Software Engineering.
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Python (Writing, testing, and debugging code).
- Experience with API Development (FastAPI, Flask).
- Exposure to GenAI Basics (LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG).
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Version Control using Git.
- Good-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience with embeddings and Vector Databases.
- Basic understanding of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
