Job Description
Cornerstone is seeking a passionate Junior Engineer to join their Quality Engineering team. This role is for fresh graduates interested in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, Test Automation, and Artificial Intelligence. The position involves contributing to manual and automated testing activities, with a focus on applying AI concepts to improve automation strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Testing Activities: Work with the Quality Engineering team on manual and automated test cases.
- Automation Frameworks: Learn and contribute to test automation frameworks using Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Feature Understanding: Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product features and requirements.
- Test Planning & Execution: Participate in test planning and test execution activities.
- Defect Management: Log and track software defects.
- Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing.
- Efficiency Improvement: Contribute to automation efforts and improve testing efficiency.
- AI Application: Apply AI concepts to develop smarter and more efficient automation strategies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology; MCA or MCS candidates are also eligible.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong academic background with exposure to AI technologies and programming
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence fundamentals and concepts
- Good understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts, preferably using Java
- Understanding of Data Structures and OOPS concepts
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, C++, or .NET
- Basic knowledge of API testing and web services
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Appium (exposure to these is relevant)

- Good verbal and written communication skills
