Job Description

The role focuses on full-stack web development, testing, CI/CD, deployment and production monitoring, with a strong emphasis on building reliable and maintainable software. The position is particularly focused on the MERN stack, with required proficiency in React.js, Node.js and Express.js. Developers will work across frontend development, backend APIs, database integrations, unit testing, deployments and post-production support.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development: Build UI components based on design specifications provided by the relevant design and product teams.
  • Backend Development: Develop APIs, server-side business logic and database integrations.
  • Full-Stack Integration: Connect frontend and backend components while ensuring complete functional accuracy.
  • Unit Testing: Write and execute unit tests to maintain application reliability and stability.
  • CI/CD: Manage application deployments and help maintain smooth and reliable release cycles.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor deployed applications and identify production issues.
  • Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve production problems within applicable service-level expectations.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in timely peer reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Maintainability: Write clean, scalable and maintainable code that can evolve over time.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Stay accountable for software quality beyond development and through deployment and stabilization.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

Experience: 1+ year of development experience.
