Job Description
As a Frontend Developer (Fresher), you will work closely within a dedicated delivery pod consisting of senior engineers, backend developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers. You will take full ownership of shipping user-facing features and production code.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build reusable: Production-grade React components and manage application state efficiently.
- Integrate RESTful APIs: And handle asynchronous data fetching seamlessly inside UI components.
- Implement mobile-first: Responsive, and cross-device compatible web layouts.
- Participate actively: In code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning cycles.
- Identify UI/UX bottlenecks: Debug issues, and deploy quick performance fixes.
- Iterate on continuous engineering feedback: To elevate code quality and craftsmanship.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong React fundamentals: React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useCallback), functional components, lifecycle
- Comfort with Modern JavaScript (ES6+): Arrow functions, destructuring, promises, async/await
- HTML5 & CSS3 proficiency: Flexbox, Grid, CSS animations, and responsive layouts
- Demonstrated ability to fetch data from APIs and handle integration within UI components
- Git basics: Comfortable with clone, commit, push, pull, and feature branch workflows
- At least one shipped project (via an internship, portfolio, hackathon, or deployed live web app)
- State management exposure using Context API, Redux, or Zustand
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS, styled-components, or Material UI
- Hands-on experience deploying web apps using Vercel, Netlify, or GitHub Pages
- Understanding of browser DevTools (Network tab, performance profiling, debugging)
- Basic testing exposure (Jest or React Testing Library)
- Exposure to performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting)
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma
