Job Description

Linde, a premier global industrial gases and engineering enterprise, has initiated its off-campus recruitment campaign for the 2026 hiring cycle. The company is actively seeking applications for the role of Software Developer (AI Products). This role is a key entry point into Linde's high-impact Digital Americas division, a collaborative, cross-functional team of seasoned data scientists, operations-research experts, and software engineers. Selected candidates will build, optimize, and scale decision-support software and advanced analytics platforms. The position is based full-time at Linde’s engineering center in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • AI Product Development: Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to build analytics tools and decision-support systems for Linde’s global business units.
  • Data Systems Integration: Collaborating closely with data scientists and engineers to integrate raw data pipelines, automate system workflows, and build out reliable reporting systems.
  • System Maintenance: Testing, debugging, maintaining, and upgrading existing software modules to ensure optimal processing speeds and runtime reliability.
  • Agile Teamwork: Engaging in sprint ceremonies, providing regular updates, and incorporating feedback to ensure solutions align with operational requirements.
  • Continuous Upskilling: Actively staying up to date with modern software tools, AI frameworks, and development best practices.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

Experience: Freshers / Entry-Level

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Strong conceptual fundamentals in computer science, including data structures, basic algorithms, and clean object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • A clear interest in working on predictive analytics, machine learning pipelines, AI-backed business tools, and enterprise decision-support software.

Competencies:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving logic, and the adaptability to work inside multi-disciplinary development teams.
