Job Description

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is seeking talented individuals for the role of Software Engineer – Full Stack (.NET + Angular) in Bangalore. This opportunity is for B.E, B.Tech, or B.Sc degree holders with a solid understanding of backend development and modern frontend frameworks. You will collaborate in an Agile team to develop and deliver highly scalable applications, contributing to the financial markets infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Code Quality: Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on clear technical specifications.
  • Technology Expertise: Building extensive knowledge of the technologies used within LSEG and applying them effectively in your domain.
  • Delivery Support: Supporting the delivery of assigned work, prioritizing tasks appropriately, and completing sprint goals.
  • Collaboration: Building strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and peers.
  • Communication: Communicating clearly and in a timely manner to ensure a full understanding of information, proactively asking questions when needed.
  • Continuous Development: Taking robust initiative to continuously develop your knowledge of technology products and tools through on-the-job learning, certifications, and active mentoring.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional software development experience working actively with a full-stack environment.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Frontend: Proficiency in frontend technologies including Angular, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern HTML/CSS
  • Backend: Strong backend and API expertise using Microsoft .NET, specifically C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development
  • Databases: Solid proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
  • DevOps & Tools: Hands‑on experience with CI/CD configuration tools including GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and Docker

Competencies:

  • A proven working background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
