Job Description
Marmon Technologies is actively inviting applications from freshers for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee (Software Development) at its Bengaluru facility. Candidates will gain hands-on proficiency in modern software tools, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and scalable cloud architectures while collaborating with senior engineers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Contribute to the design, engineering, testing, and cloud deployment of enterprise applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Develop proficiency in modern software tools, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and scalable cloud architectures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate directly with senior software engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and product owners.
- Problem-Solving: Apply knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts to solve software development challenges.
- Database & API Integration: Utilize understanding of database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL) and API/system integration concepts in development tasks.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative engineering discipline.
Experience: No prior professional work experience required (Freshers are eligible). Academic project exposure or internships in software development are an added advantage.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL) and API/system integration concepts.
Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving capability and logical analytical thinking skills.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills to collaborate in cross-functional Agile teams.
- Familiarity with modern version control systems like Git and collaborative code practices (Desired).
- Exposure to Agile software development workflows and iterative delivery cycles (Desired).
- Basic understanding of networking, web protocols, software testing (unit tests, code reviews) (Desired).
- Working knowledge or awareness of AI Infrastructure and Prompt Engineering concepts (Desired).
