Job Description
For the Michelin Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Support Engineer to provide technical and functional assistance to users. The goal is to restore services and ensure the smooth operation of digital solutions. You will troubleshoot issues, apply workarounds, and assist in data fixes. This role requires a user-centric mindset and proactivity, involving monitoring production status and resolving incidents under supervision. The position involves rotational shifts to support global operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Providing troubleshooting and support for global users across various time zones.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze problems and implement system improvements.
- Data Management: Assisting in fixing data in databases and validating solutions before deployment.
- Monitoring: Monitoring production status and supervising system health.
- Documentation: Maintaining standard procedures and ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
- Shift Work: Participating in rotational shift schedules to meet business needs.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, B.Sc. IT, or equivalent (Recent Graduates).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Programming Fundamentals (C, C++, Java, Python, or similar).
- Good exposure to SQL (Queries, Joins, Functions, Database concepts).
Competencies:
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Experience with Linux or basic Linux commands.
- Prior exposure to global team environments (internships/projects).
- Willingness to work in Rotational Shifts.
