Job Description
For the MKS Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is seeking an Associate Application Developer to collaborate closely with the Data Analytics team. Reporting to the DA Team Manager, you will support SAP activities alongside simulation, data modeling, and related digital initiatives. You will apply various analytical methods and strategies to assist multiple departments across the organization. This role involves working alongside your immediate team, R&D managers, and cross-functional groups. Open communication, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to propose effective approaches are essential for successfully carrying out these responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Simulation & Modeling: Develop and execute numerical simulations using tools like COMSOL, ANSYS, or similar software. Build comprehensive structural, thermal, fluid, electromagnetic, and multiphysics models.
- End-to-End Processing: Perform pre-processing, solving, and post-processing of advanced simulation models.
- Design Optimization: Validate simulation results through analytical calculations, experimental data, or lab test results to support multiple design iterations.
- Data Analytics & SAP: Provide crucial support to related SAP activities and ensure all data analytics initiatives adhere to strict data privacy and security standards.
- Innovation & Strategy: Stay current with emerging trends in Cheminformatics and Data Science, advising on their strategic application within MKS.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, testing) and maintain clear communication regarding task progress.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: A graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Chemical Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
Experience: At least 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics or a related technical field.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with COMSOL Simulation.
- Strong knowledge of FEM (Finite Element Method) / FEA (Finite Element Analysis) / CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of Cheminformatics and Data Science techniques.
- Ability to interpret simulation results and translate them into actionable engineering decisions.
- Experience with Multiphysics simulations.
- Scripting or automation skills in MATLAB or Python.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to lab testing, system architectures, robotics, and R&D environments.
